Job 21 / Zephaniah 3 / 1 John 3-4

I will leave within you the meek and humble, who trust in the name of the LORD.

The meek and humble are opposite to what the humans naturally want to respond to and themselves become. Meek and humble means little or no outer shell covering them to protect them so they are exposed and vulnerable, and have to count on another force of power to continue to become what they were called to be—the reason they are meek and humble. The humans are inclined toward having as big and thick a shell as possible to protect them because they have a nature of fear and hiding living in them, so everything they do must be geared toward keeping that shell fortified. Meek and humble are distasteful to what lives in the humans because it reminds them of being naked and vulnerable, which is what the animals spend their lives trying to avoid having to become.

I heard you in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked; so I hid.

The last thing the humans want in themselves is to have to feel weak, naked or ashamed like their ancestors—the first recorded consequence of their having tasted the seed of death that was planted in them what they initiated by their own choice and will apart from God's. But the sons must become that in order to be honest before their Father. They must have their shell stripped off of them so they become like little children who aren't ashamed or even uncomfortable about their nakedness before the Father. Then there will be nothing left to hide when their walls of defense are torn down and they realize they don't need them to hide behind anymore because those walls are for the frightened animals who have no other choice than to do what those first humans did when they ran and hid from God because of the fear and shame. They weren't His children anymore, but strangers who were uncomfortable and ashamed before God like wild animals, not dearly loved children.

The remnant of Israel will do no wrong; they will speak no lies, nor will deceit be found in their mouths.
They will eat and lie down and no one will make them afraid.

The group of humans who came from Abraham are an observable copy of the secret family of God which exists in the reality that the humans cannot observe. The remnant consists of the sons of God from the secret tribe of Joseph who faded into obscurity in human terms, even though he was more important to God in ways the humans are never quite able to get, because their experience is limited to what they can observe and control. The members of the secret tribe of Joseph are anointed by the invisible life of the spirit of the Father and the Son, to be gathered up from out of the natural creation whilst the humans live their lives unaware that anything is happening in any other reality except for the one they can observe and be a part of. Indeed they aren't aware that another exists in its true form, because it is unknown to all but whomever it's being revealed. Little is ever known amongst the humans about the truth of the reality of the hidden sons, so we can be sure that they will not be embraced nor accepted by the humans, even and especially the ones who claim to know the way to God. They say by their lives that it is by a natural path, a path that one can travel on while living out their natural life like all the other natural creatures, that one must take to get to Him who is not one bit natural—no matter what their mouths say.

The true sons of God are called to be that remnant which keeps getting mentioned, just a tiny sliver and fraction of the population from which they are snatched. They are the meek and humble because of their transformation away from what the humans aspire to be, according to their being able to hear the living yet hidden voice the others don't hear, and their being pulled away from what the others are. They are the ones whom the others don't want to be around because of something they (the humans) cannot detect, although they do contrive whatever fits their need for agreement, justice according to them, in their minds, for the reason they loathe the sons—why they hate them and want to kill them, or at least push them far away.

At that time I will deal with all who oppressed you; I will rescue the lame and gather those who have been scattered. I will give them praise and honor in every land where they were put to shame.

At that time I will gather you; at that time I will bring you home. I will give you honor and praise among all the peoples of the earth when I restore your fortunes before your very eyes," says the LORD.

That's the way the Father wants the sons to be treated by the rest of the humans, so that they learn to count on Him to be everything they have in this world—their hope, their dream, what they want to aspire to, what they want to possess and own. It's nothing like what the humans want to have. It's why the sons have their example in Jesus the only Son who ever was a good Son to the good Father, the head of the family of the sons of God. Yet the Son was treated by the humans with disregard and scorn, in a shameful way, unlike what the humans tolerate about how they are treated. The humans never choose shame as the way they like to be treated because it's against what's in them at their core, what defines them and keeps them what they are—animals who need a protective shell and walls of defense to hide behind. The sons learn to love what the Father wants for them, because it begins to define them as the opposite of what the humans are and remain as—not a frightened, wild animal but a clean son who is not ashamed to stand before his Father and not afraid of Him.

How great is the love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him. Dear friends, now we are children of God, and what we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that when he appears, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is. Everyone who has this hope in him purifies himself, just as he is pure.

He who does what is sinful is of the devil, because the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the devil(serpent, beast, animal)'s work. No one who is born of God will continue to sin, because God's seed (the life of God living in men, the mechanism and glory of the new covenant) remains in him; he cannot go on sinning (being led, and therefore defined, by the nature of the animal), because he has been born of God. This is how we know who the children of God are and who the children of the devil are: Anyone who does not do what is right (deny the animal that right to lead him) is not a child of God; nor is anyone who does not love (according to God) his brother (God's valuable sons).

This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us (not all the humans, but the chosen sons of God). And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers (those who were under the new covenant in the first century, before it went away from the earth). If anyone has material possessions and sees his brother in need but has no pity on him, how can the love of God be in him? Dear children, let us not love with words or tongue (conceptually, theoretically) but with actions and in truth. This then is how we know that we belong to the truth, and how we set our hearts at rest in his presence whenever our hearts condemn us. For God is greater than our hearts, and he knows everything.

Dear friends, if our hearts do not condemn us, we have confidence before God and receive from him anything we ask, because we obey his commands and do what pleases him. And this is his command: to believe in the name of his Son, Jesus Christ, and to love one another as he commanded us. Those who obey his commands live in him, and he in them. And this is how we know that he lives in us: We know it by the spirit he gave us.

John was far along in the life of God, as were many of the sons he wrote to, that he takes a lot of things for granted as he writes. The design of the life of God is that unless we have it in us, then we cannot understand it or even begin to comprehend its value i.e., His reality must be revealed or it's going to be just an unfathomable mystery. As the life grows in us, we get more, and all the time closer to being able to realize the truth of the writings as the writer intentioned, the notions and ideas he had in his mind when he wrote. That's because the life brings with it the mind of Jesus, of God, of the spiritual reality they rule in and keep. John's mind was being inhabited by the same teacher, so as the life grows in us we should find an agreement with him as to what the secret things of God are, that which few have ever known. Definitely the opposite of what the humans say about the Father and the Son.

He replied, The knowledge of the secrets of the kingdom of heaven has been given to you, but not to them. Whoever has will be given more, and he will have an abundance. Whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken from him. This is why I speak to them in parables:

Though seeing, they do not see; though hearing, they do not hear or understand.

In them is fulfilled the prophecy of Isaiah: 'You will be ever hearing but never understanding; you will be ever seeing but never perceiving. For this people's heart has become calloused; they hardly hear with their ears, and they have closed their eyes. Otherwise they might see with their eyes, hear with their ears, understand with their hearts and turn, and I would heal them.'

But blessed are your eyes because they see, and your ears because they hear. For I tell you the truth, many prophets and righteous men longed to see what you see but did not see it, and to hear what you hear but did not hear it.

The most important thing for John, in whom that life had steadily grown, was the love that came from God which he first saw in Jesus, and declared must be present for one to grow in the new way. When love is not present, as in the case of the animal filled with fear, then the best it can do is theorize about it, and pretend it does have it. So we ask God to be free from the animal, His enemy, the thing that keeps us from love and in turn the ability to love. We ask that we could know and comprehend the vastness of the love which abided in the Lord, which gave him the ability to exercise the greatest love, as he turned away from the animal that wanted to rule him, and turned toward the Father (who also wanted to rule him in the good way, as a father is over his son). Until we've actually been given a taste of love, which can only come from the Father, we can have no conception of what it is, what it feels like, what it looks like, or how it makes us act and not act.

Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world. This is how you can recognize the Spirit of God: Every spirit that acknowledges that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God, but every spirit that does not acknowledge Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you have heard is coming and even now is already in the world.

Most of all, though, as animals we cannot practice it, which means we cannot be under the new covenant as the sons who lived in the first century were. This is because that which was in the world, shortly after the Son went to the Father to become the new God, modified in a sense to accommodate the life of the Son into what before was the Father without the Son's presence, was taken out of the world. That means that every religious institution which claims Jesus as their head, based on the fact that what happened in the first century is still available for them and their members, is wrong and false because of the error of not knowing what the abomination that caused desolation was.

If we think about it, God "started over" many times, as per the preserved words. We know that the first time Jesus came in to the world, he didn't appear as any one of the humans would have expected him to look and act like—so much so they killed the One they presumed to be looking for. We have heard him say that he will come back another time, even after he came back as the spirit who inhabited the bodies of those he loved and specifically came to save. Who knows what that coming will look like? The humans, as always, claim to know because it's in them to own that knowledge so they can use it for their own good. We know that there is no power or validity in what the humans claim to know, because their institutions are built and maintained by mere animals, not the living God, so they cannot fulfill what they claim to be able to (show anyone the way to the Father).

For instance, practically the entire world of humans who call themselves "christian," follow a heritage that comes from a single source, that which had the political power to stamp out everyone else who claimed to follow Jesus. They discredited everyone who didn't tow their line, labeling them as heretics and using their power to snuff them out until they were the only ones left. They developed "creeds," by which they could easily establish whether or not one towed their line, or was a heretic. The political kingdom of Rome was the significant latter piece of one of Daniel's prophesies; it was also what allowed another of his prophesies to be fulfilled, that which was able to firmly and finally stamp out what the humans hated (the true believers being ruled/led by the invisible life of the Father living in them) because they could not own and control it. So by the political power that Rome, the last of Daniel's kingdoms had; that which became its official religion was able to do what it did.

What the world of christianity claims is the light that the apostles proclaimed, has actually been a prolonged period of darkness and desolation over the earth. Perhaps now is the time that the living God is ready to start over once again, as He has done many times before. But who knows what it'll look like? Certainly not the humans who claim to know. They're always wrong about God because they do not contain or control Him in any way, except that which is part of the natural reality, so not at all because God's reality isn't found in the natural, only shadows and copies of it are. His reality is as different from the natural reality as the true Jesus was from what the humans expected him to look like, be and do.


What causes fights and quarrels among you? Don't they come from your desires that battle within you? You want something but don't get it. You kill and covet, but you cannot have what you want. You quarrel and fight. You do not have, because you do not ask God. When you ask, you do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, that you may spend what you get on your pleasures.

You adulterous people, don't you know that friendship with the world is hatred toward God? Anyone who chooses to be a friend of the world becomes an enemy of God. Or do you think Scripture says without reason that the spirit he caused to live in us envies intensely? But he gives us more grace. That is why Scripture says:

"God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble."

Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Come near to God and he will come near to you. Wash your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded. Grieve, mourn and wail. Change your laughter to mourning and your joy to gloom. Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up.

If the legitimate sons ask for the things that the Lord wants to give them, then why shouldn't they expect to receive them? They should, and will, because it is the Father's good pleasure to dispense His great love to His legitimate children. He will not waste it on a bunch of animals who would just trample it into the mud, as they have for some 1800 years or so. That's one good reason it has to be a slow and gradual transformation. We wouldn't know what to do with it when we are very young in the new way, except what would benefit our animal selves, like an infant sticking things in its mouth because that's all it knows to do in its condition, with the resources available to it at the time (example of the copy).

The new consciousness of love is the mentality of not acting as the animal must, what the Lord speaks of in turning the other cheek, which is impossible for the animal until it has the resources and has been transformed into a being which can. In its natural condition it can only retaliate when it's fired upon. Unfortunately that's still something we have the tendency to do because we're young and without the resources that the transformation brings. If we react and live according to the same animal nature by which the humans are operating, how do we escape its hypocrisy? We don't escape, but we also don't just remain in this helpless condition, which is Paul's idea when he's writing Romans—the inability to do that which is right because of another nature (coming from the serpent) that is constantly pulling on him to do what's wrong, to satisfy himself and all of the animal cravings and needs that always spring up from within himself, because they're part of him. That is the very thing we term the animal nature, that which Jesus denied the right to lead and rule him so that he remained uncontaminated by it.

So I find this law at work: When I want to do good (please his Father by not being led/ruled by the animal nature), evil (the temptation to do that) is right there with me. For in my inner being I delight in God's law (to be led by the invisible life which came to him, to believe in the name of the Son, and to love one another as he commanded us); but I see another law (the animal consciousness) at work in the members of my body, waging war against the law of my mind (the desire to please God by being not led by that nature) and making me a prisoner of the law of sin (the law of the animal which can only serve and love its self) at work within my members. What a wretched man I am!

The more elder members of any community of humans who claim to know the way to God, who theoretically should be the most mature, are usually, ironically the furthest from the way the real Jesus was. This is because they have participated in their world's system of the official way to the gods a lot longer, and are more "human," set into the ways of the humans than the others. They rely on the animal model of power because they don't know any other way than that. So the saying of Jesus that the first will be last and the last first finds no meaning in them, but is only just a nonsensical idea and gets reduced to theory. Because they're slaves to the nature that rules them, because the voice of the Teacher doesn't live in them, they cannot even start to fathom the truth of what Jesus said. They inevitably feel that they have the most to lose, and must protect whatever part of their identity as citizens of the world they think is in danger. The longer one has been entrenched in the way, philosophy and things of the world, the harder it is for them to respond to the Lord and to actually follow his way, which is opposite to the world's.

The life of the son, on the other hand, will look like the lives of Jesus and Paul, who had nothing to speak of in the natural, except what they needed in order to continue to do the work that the Father had made for them. Everything gets reduced like a funnel so that what lives in them is nothing that the humans would ever want because they can't see the value of what the sons have. All they see is the natural existence, which is an undesirable one according to human standards—like the true Jesus' natural existence was. The only ones who will respond to them are the other legitimate sons, who are responding to the voice of the Teacher in them also.

That is how the one who is chosen to be a son actually goes through the metamorphosis from old to new, by hearing the voice and responding to it. A way toward perfection in God's new creation is the system for the son to participate in while he is here in the world. The animal is mostly geared toward unbecoming a servant of all men. God's desire, seen in the first century sons, is that the son's life is poured out like a drink offering, spent on the work of providing comfort, guidance and instruction to the Lord's sheep who don't know any better. Then when they are transformed, they do the same. Each of God's men were servants, not served. They took responsibility for the sheep because of the love they received from Him, which broke down the animal's stranglehold over their lives of self-preservation. The most perfect example of this process is found in the Lord's life.

That's one big difference between those who are born of God and those who only assume they are. Those who are born of God become servants, not just ideologically, or theoretically, which is all the animal is capable of. It is an effective vehicle by which our natures can be transformed. Whatever our desire wasn't in the old life becomes our desire in the new, and the more mature we are, the less we have to force ourselves to do the right thing. The power of the love we receive from God actually changes our desires. It's a total flip-flop type of deal from before. It's not easy.

The animal cannot puncture the membrane of its own consciousness, that which keeps it from knowing God's love. Because its consciousness is the membrane, it cannot think past it, because it is the very mechanism used in the process. So it's stuck in a loop, the circle from which it cannot escape, just like everything in the natural creation is in a loop of existence followed by termination. It is an extraordinary thing that God has set up to keep the animals from finding the tree of life and eating—ingenious beyond anything.

Where is the wise man? Where is the scholar? Where is the philosopher of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of the world? For since in the wisdom of God the world through its wisdom did not know him, God was pleased through the foolishness of what was preached to save those who believe.

Jews demand miraculous signs and Greeks look for wisdom, but we preach Christ crucified: a stumbling block to Jews and foolishness to Gentiles, but to those whom God has called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God. For the foolishness of God is wiser than man's wisdom, and the weakness of God is stronger than man's strength.
