What do I care about incense from Sheba or sweet calamus from a distant land?
Your burnt offerings are not acceptable; your sacrifices do not please me.

The bellows blow fiercely to burn away the lead with fire,
but the refining goes on in vain; the wicked are not purged out.
They are called rejected silver, because the LORD has rejected them.

The earth is the temporary creation ruled by the sons of the earth, who are ruled by the animal nature put in place by God to keep them away from Him. They are not generally loved by God, or pleasing to Him. That is what the animal nature tells each one about itself (that it is so worthwhile and important), which is where that lie of God loving all men generally comes from. The humans don't desire to know Him or ever do His will. They aren't concerned about any purpose He might have to even inquire about it in any substantial or meaningful way. If they do ever think there might be a god (so they can get something from it—go to heaven, be in the kingdom, be in paradise—all not accidentally about the individual's benefit) then they usually clomp on to one of the lies strewn about the earth about Him (the easiest thing to do). They choose to follow some self-proclaimed "experts" who must be right because they call themselves experts and talk like experts or wear special clothing. In reality, underneath whatever identity or garment they're hiding behind they are nothings, no closer to being able to show anyone the way to the Father than the ones who put their trust in them. The humans don't know the way to the Father on purpose, as planned and according to His desire.

To be sure, Elijah comes and will restore all things. But I tell you, Elijah has already come, and they did not recognize him, but have done to him everything they wished. In the same way the Son of Man is going to suffer at their hands.

The living God doesn't recognize the humans and their positions of excellence, which is His most profound declaration of why the two greatest humans according to the living God were beheld by the humans (led by the experts) as nothings & nobodies ("they did not recognize him"). According to God's desire to make the declaration that the humans don't matter one bit, He made these two humans not humans. They didn't fit into or rearrange and reconstruct the systems of the humans in the name and for the sake of the true God. He didn't set them straight, but completely disregarded them and bypassed them by *not* exercising His power against them when they came against His servants. He just let them go on about their business as they always do—getting, taking, having, controlling for their own sakes, because they are presumably so important to themselves, so they should.

He was oppressed and afflicted, yet he did not open his mouth;
he was led like a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is silent,
so he did not open his mouth.

They didn't fight back as animals fight back, because the living God didn't recognize the humans and their system of recognition. The human way would have been to overpower them, but in the most ironic way, which is a huge facet of the living and true God's personality, He made the two men subject to the humans by asking them to be. And they chose to obey the wishes of the Father at the great cost of being humiliated and degraded at the hand of the humans. However, that was His desire because He knew the better way of what He had planned for them, and why. They didn't know the full plan because what God wants most from His servants (sons) is trust. That is an important thing for the sons of God to know.

When Peter came into the house, Jesus was the first to speak. "What do you think, Simon?" he asked. "From whom do the kings of the earth collect duty and taxes—from their own sons or from others?" "From others," Peter answered.

"Then the sons are exempt," Jesus said to him.

The sons of God are those chosen to be pulled out of the earth—first the nature of the humans, and second its various official and unofficial systems created by the humans who rule the creation—to become separated from it so they aren't ruled and led by the animal nature, but by God their new Father and the nature He is replacing that waning nature with (of the son). Therefore they become genuine sons of God all the way down to the unseen spirit DNA that He puts into them, however it, just as in Jesus and John, is unrecognized by the humans who cannot behold or detect God as He actually exists. What they recognize are the experts who lie to them about how to get the God (because they don't know, so they have to make something up that sounds feasible).

What agreement is there between the temple of God and idols? For we are the temple of the living God. As God has said: "I will live with them and walk among them, and I will be their God, and they will be my people."

Participating in the humans' systems just reinforces the animal nature in the sons of God, which is why the sons are called to come out from them. The sons are exempt and also make themselves exempt by choosing the Father over the humans—so they don't have as much influence and remain able to reinforce the way of the animal in them. It's a readjustment to another better way, a reprogramming of their basic and fundamental nature from animal to son of God. You get bigger as you go.

Take warning, O Jerusalem, or I will turn away from you and make your land desolate so no one can live in it. To whom can I speak and give warning? Who will listen to me? Their ears are closed so they cannot hear. The word of the LORD is offensive to them; they find no pleasure in it.

The land is where the sons of God live and grow so they can know what God intended for the Israelites (the copy), but which He couldn't give them because they kept reverting to that animal nature instead of clinging to Him by choosing His way (the warning). They gave in to their impulses and urges—the instincts of their nature—so that they got continually dragged away by their enemies, to whom God kept giving them over.

I am full of the wrath of the LORD, and I cannot hold it in.

The accounts of the Israelites are for the sons' benefit, to show them what not to do, what grieves the Father, what the firstborn Son refrained from and said no to—being led by the animal instincts and urges—so he was able to remain the spotless Lamb of God who could take away the sons' sins and save them for the Father's sake, because he kept choosing the Father. Those who don't know about the animal nature and its complete stranglehold over the humans cannot know why or how the Son could be the spotless Lamb of God who could be clean enough to do the work he did, because they can't recognize what sin is, or what he was, therefore what he overcame for the Father's and his true brothers' sake. That leads them to being utterly unable to comprehend that he is a model and example for his brothers who are in their human bodies, to follow him because he possessed the way to God—he (his life, the way he went away from the animal) was the way.

Ironically, he was clean enough to become dirty enough to take that nature into him and kill it on the cross, which is how his own brothers, God's own sons, are saved. Choosing to go the way he went (he is the way) solidifies that salvation not just for themselves but for their true family of brothers, and they by association. Their identity isn't any longer as an individual animal which must continue to survive by doing what animals are driven to do, therefore being merely an animal by definition. Their identity is found within the brotherhood of the true brothers of the Son of God. Their concerns drift away from the stupid-ass humans and all their arrogant isolationist individualism, who ultimately count for nothing because they couldn't care less about the Father's purpose, toward the family of their true brothers, who are called to be able to love as the Father requires it amongst those who would wear His name.

A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.

Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another, for he who loves his fellowman has fulfilled the law.

Now that you have purified yourselves by obeying the truth so that you have sincere love for your brothers, love one another deeply, from the heart. For you have been born again, not of perishable seed, but of imperishable, through the living and enduring word of God.

Not all men, but only those who are in the household of faith, like a little child is able to believe—what the humans despise and disdain as worthless. There is a huge chasm between what they're able to teach us by osmosis (having the animal reinforced within us by being exposed to them) and what the Father requires, which is why the separation must come. Unless we know the power and ubiquity of the animal nature, and its origins, then we can't know that it is the sinful nature, and that is merely being an unclean animal which cannot come into the presence of God, and therefore cannot be saved, made holy, or consecrated for His purpose alone. The animals cannot be for God's purpose, but only for their own purpose and for the earth's purpose, to become nutrients for plants eaten by other animals who also become that.

Pour it out on the children in the street and on the young men gathered together; both husband and wife will be caught in it, and the old, those weighed down with years.

Their houses will be turned over to others, together with their fields and their wives, when I stretch out my hand against those who live in the land," declares the LORD.

From the least to the greatest, all are greedy for gain; prophets and priests alike, all practice deceit.

The wrath of God poured out on the children, the husband and wife, their houses, their fields, and the old. From the least to the greatest, all are greedy for gain; prophets and priests alike, all practice deceit. This is a pretty complete picture of the humans and what they value. Not God, but themselves and everything that constitutes their identity as animals, from their own DNA defined family to their livelihoods and the things they love and consider valuable, spending their lives running after them to the systems they put their trust in because they think the "experts" will save them. There is no knowledge of God in the earth. It has been abandoned to the animals, and He is gone from their midst. There is no one righteous in the earth, because they are all covered by that thick layer of membrane that covers them and keeps them from being right in His eyes, made holy for His purpose.

While he (Peter) was still speaking, a bright cloud enveloped them, and a voice from the cloud said, "This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased. Listen to him!"

The purpose and will of God was being fulfilled by the anticipated Son, in doing the opposite of the way the animal nature made the animals want him to go. Just before, Peter had declared that Jesus had the authority as God's Messiah. God had revealed this to Peter, and Jesus also told Peter something about his authority:

Simon Peter answered, "You are the Christ, the Son of the living God." Jesus replied, "Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, for this was not revealed to you by man, but by my Father in heaven."

That's an crucial thing to understand (how important the Son was/is to the Father), because it became what our very life is and all our hopes are now being based on, what we know is true about our own experience. We know that it wasn't any man or group of men (experts) who was ever able to lead us to the Father. It came at a certain, specified time in our lives (isn't arbitrary or random), and the power of the spirit (the life of the Father and Son) was the only force that was actually able to fully convince us. When the word, which is the Father's intention, comes, it cuts like a knife and can't be denied. There is no wishy-washy humanness about it where we can make it just another thing in our precious lives that we can incorporate into it. We either have to respond by following the same way that the Son went (everything), or leave it by clomping on to any one of the vast sea of human lies that says you can get to the Father and still hang on to your life like all the other animals.

The Son with the power and identity of the Father (the two were made one) is our teacher, leading us by his miraculous power to accomplish the impossible—being taught to believe the unbelievable, like a child is able to which is the required level upon which that belief happens. Yet it's hard to learn and believe that, because it is such a different process than we're used to. That state of being a child, able to believe what we now despise, has long been over and is far from us. We do not just access it because we think we can, which is a total scam of the liars (claiming they and their followers can, even though in their hearts they despise the child and his ability to believe what they are sure is made up—because of their endless intelligence, so far above the child). What they don't understand is what they don't want to accept, because they're required to become what they inherently loathe, what they would *never* choose to become, but must. But they won't, so they can't. We can't have it both ways—one has to be chosen and the other has to be abandoned.

Anyone who loves his father or mother more than me is not worthy of me; anyone who loves his son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me; and anyone who does not take his cross and follow me is not worthy of me.

Whoever finds his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life for my sake will find it.

And everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or children or fields for my sake will receive a hundred times as much and will inherit eternal life. But many who are first will be last, and many who are last will be first.

We still want to think we can convince others about the truth by our ability to persuade, with words and arguments that come out from our mouth. But God isn't in the world, or the natural order of things, that which the humans dominate. That is just our animal craving to be accepted and validated as acceptable, what we spent our lives trying to do before we were called out of that way. It is the powerful and ubiquitous instinct that drives the humans to want/need/crave it. But it's not for the sons of God, whose validation can only come from the Father.

When they came together in Galilee, he said to them, "The Son of Man is going to be betrayed into the hands of men. They will kill him, and on the third day he will be raised to life." And the disciples were filled with grief.

Peter forgot what he had known before (that Jesus was the Christ, the Son of the living God), because it was a spiritual event when the voice of the Father revealed that to Peter, and Peter was a dull and lifeless animal, unable to retain that spiritual information. Then the voice of the animal led him (his natural state) and he was overtaken by fear and disbelief, which is its nature. When he heard Jesus talking about being killed, he could not let it happen, and he wrongly assumed that he could correct the Lord and convince him to do what "the devil" tried to convince him to do in the temptation account—to not do the will of the Father but obey that voice in the animal that is born out of urge, craving and impulse. The devil, or satan, is just the will and desire of the animal nature to lead the son instead of the voice of the Father.

Peter took him aside and began to rebuke him. "Never, Lord!" he said. "This shall never happen to you!" Jesus turned and said to Peter, "Get behind me, Satan! You are a stumbling block to me; you do not have in mind the things of God, but the things of men."

After Peter declared whom Jesus was by the prompting of the Father, then Jesus started to tell them the truth about himself—that things were not going to go any way that those men wanted, hoped and expected them to go (because of the blindness of the nature that ruled them). Jesus immediately started to explain to them the real truth about the Messiah, as contained within the Psalms and prophets, just after Peter admitted Jesus' identity as the chosen one and Son of God. He would *not* be great in the natural, observable sense. He would *not* be the deliverer of Israel, the conquering King, successor and son of David who in the minds of the dead animals would liberate the great nation of God's chosen people from its oppressors.

That idea was just what they assumed on their individual level as animals about themselves (when it was about God's chosen, hidden, secret sons). It's what the humans are always instinctually driven to assume because that's how the animal nature works. The Jews just extended that superior identity out to the group they were a member of, which is how the animal works all the time in the humans. It's the same thing with any of the groups of religious or non-religious groups of humans then, now, before and after—no matter who they are or what they believe. With the humans it is always, "We are the special ones, those upon whom our gods look with favorable eyes." They are always driven by whatever lie they have chosen to embrace.

They dress the wound of my people as though it were not serious. `Peace, peace,' they say, when there is no peace.

I appointed watchmen over you and said, 'Listen to the sound of the trumpet!' But you said, 'We will not listen.'

The Jews gathered around him, saying, "How long will you keep us in suspense? If you are the Christ, tell us plainly." Jesus answered, "I did tell you, but you do not believe. The miracles I do in my Father's name speak for me, but you do not believe because you are not my sheep.

Do not believe me unless I do what my Father does. But if I do it, even though you do not believe me, believe the miracles, that you may know and understand that the Father is in me, and I in the Father."

The words I say to you are not just my own. Rather, it is the Father, living in me, who is doing his work. Believe me when I say that I am in the Father and the Father is in me; or at least believe on the evidence of the miracles themselves.

If I had not done among them what no one else did, they would not be guilty of sin. But now they have seen these miracles, and yet they have hated both me and my Father.
