1 Samuel 28 / Jeremiah 4 / Matthew 15
Because you did not obey the LORD or carry out his fierce wrath against the Amalekites, the LORD has done this to you today.
Remember what the Amalekites did to you along the way when you came out of Egypt. When you were weary and worn out, they met you on your journey and cut off all who were lagging behind; they had no fear of God. When the LORD your God gives you rest from all the enemies around you in the land he is giving you to possess as an inheritance, you shall blot out the memory of Amalek from under heaven. Do not forget!
Sin is opposing whatever it is that God has specifically purposed for His good, regardless of what it naturally appears to be according to the (false) moral judgment/standard of man the crafty animal. The sinful nature is what lives in the humans to reduce them all not to a race of animals that can be good or bad in God's sight, but all bad, evil, unclean and detestable. Whether it is to be commanded to kill and a man saves/loves instead (Saul, the opposite of what Abraham was willing to do) or whether a man is commanded to love/save and instead chooses to hate/kill because of the fear that lives in the animal to define him as such. The humans have conspired to, because they rule the world of animals (being the most crafty of them all), put forth the idea instead that God loves them and wants them to all be with Him. They find themselves valuable and conveniently extend that to God. True humility though cannot ever be found when such a lie is the foundation upon which everything in them springs.
Circumcise yourselves to the LORD, circumcise your hearts, you men of Judah and people of Jerusalem, or my wrath will break out and burn like fire because of the evil you have done—burn with no one to quench it.
This idea of circumcision of the heart began back in Deut. and goes right through into the New Testament. It is a link between the Old Covenant and the New. Under the old, circumcision of the flesh made you a "slave" to the law, which couldn't save you, but circumcision of the heart is a demonstration of faith in God, which, in line with the new, could. Love overcoming instinct/fear goes back to Adam and what you are willing to in faith believe and trust, the animal or God.
Jesus replied, "And why do you break the command of God for the sake of your tradition?
A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.
I am not writing you a new command but an old one, which you have had since the beginning. This old command is the message you have heard. Yet I am writing you a new command; its truth is seen in him and you, because the darkness is passing and the true light is already shining.
Anyone who claims to be in the light but hates his brother is still in the darkness. Whoever loves his brother lives in the light, and there is nothing in him to make him stumble. But whoever hates his brother is in the darkness and walks around in the darkness; he does not know where he is going, because the darkness has blinded him.
The command of God versus the tradition of men. The animals can admit that they don't love as much as they should, but then they laugh it off as just some minor flaw, and think that the facts they "believe" are more important than ignoring the command. Their attitude is the same as all the people, stemming from the idea that God loves everyone, and there is total forgiveness for anything the humans do. As long as they believe the correct doctrines about Him they are safe because they become redeemable by thinking—learning then adhering to—the correct facts (what they've reduced faith & belief to).
The reason they cannot fulfill the commandment of the Lord is because they cannot see what they are, and therefore why they cannot love, as Jesus commanded his own heavenly brothers to love each other. They are instead fixed on what their nature dictates to them, as per the curse put on them to be in servitude to their selves—so obeying the command of Jesus to love their brother is impossible. Animals can't love anyone but themselves; that is a condition of the natural world, a system they are all part of, especially the humans. They can try but the animal nature will always come out as the thing that rules/leads them, not ever God. That takes a special, miraculous thing that must be actually, deliberately put into the heart of a human to allow him to believe like a small child believes, the same way God put it into Jesus even when he was conceived, the way he stayed untouched by the animal.
For every other son beside Jesus it happens after the animal has already become full grown, so that the sons all have to make the metaphorical journey from Egypt to the land promised to Abraham. Jesus didn't make that journey, because he never became a full grown, dead animal. If he had, then he couldn't have been the spotless Lamb. He did something much greater, that is become it by the Father putting it on him even though he wasn't it, so that all of God's sons could even be able to make the journey and be transformed.
Isaiah was right when he prophesied about you: "These people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me. They worship me in vain; their teachings are but rules taught by men."
Every plant that my heavenly Father has not planted will be pulled up by the roots. Leave them; they are blind guides. If a blind man leads a blind man, both will fall into a pit.
God is not random, and cares as much for a human whom He hasn't chosen as a human cares about a dog or a rat. Unlike the philosophy of the humans who worship themselves, so elevate their importance way above the other animals just because they can. However, just because a lie is held up, that doesn't make it the truth. The lie that the humans are so valuable is the philosophy behind all the religious movements—God loves every one of them all the same. All one has to do is find, learn and adhere to the correct facts and one will be "saved." The truth is that God loves all the animals the same—cats, rats, squirrels, dogs, humans; they all have the breath of life in them which is amazing, but when it's gone there is nothing left, and they become one with the creation that feeds on itself to keep producing, rotting, nourishing, mulching, turning over.
Break up your unplowed ground and do not sow among thorns.
The things that come out of the mouth come from the heart, and these make a man unclean. For out of the heart come evil thoughts, murder, adultery, sexual immorality, theft, false testimony, slander. These are what make a man unclean; but eating with unwashed hands does not make him unclean.
The humans can fool other humans by being their true selves only in their heart, in secret, where no one else can see. It is the great stronghold of the human, where all his treasure is kept. Each one has it, and each guard it like a fortified city.
Where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
The sons shouldn't make the mistake of thinking that because we can fool other men, we can also fool God, or think He cannot see what and who we are.
They say, "The LORD does not see; the God of Jacob pays no heed."
Take heed, you senseless ones among the people; you fools, when will you become wise? Does he who implanted the ear not hear? Does he who formed the eye not see?
What He wants from His son is a soft heart, a willing one that admits and realizes—in the deepest parts of this protected heart—it is utterly helpless and hopeless without Him, because that is the actual truth. One that is not proud and protecting and defensive of it, but can be turned in a way it might not want to go. Not wanting to keep it intact because we consider it so important, but willing to let it be cut out by Him because we see we are nothing—only worms compared to His great power and strength. So why bother? Because of the lie that we are so utterly important, there is no sight of God's importance. Because He is hidden the lie flourishes like a disease amongst the humans so it becomes their consciousness.
The animal believes the lie that it is okay without Him. It has its own set of gods who love it like it loves itself, therefore lets it live its life to and for itself because that's all it wants to do. So for the humans it's a perfect relationship. Few ever come to this state of their heart being honest before God, because one has to be pulled from the animal state to be able to see it for what it is, how it works and its ubiquitous dominance in the humans and itself. Otherwise it's just lost in the sea of the propagated lies it inherited and incorporated into its own consciousness when it passed over into death (maturity), and the effort to become something (a son) when you're not (just an animal) will expose itself as another lie when the screws are turned just a little bit. Meaning, one can't pretend by mimicking what they think the words say about one who is pleasing to the Father. The heart is too complex and the nature that rules the humans too powerful for that kind of sham, like an actor would try to pull off.
Whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.
It is impossible for a man to actually be humble before Him, because it takes the miracle of God's life in a man's heart to transform him from animal to son who can embrace that humility the Father calls for. Proud, defensive and defiant is the nature of the animal. What the Father wants/expects/demands in His son is softness, humility, repentance and sorrow for his lowly, evil state and his admitted inability to ever be able to please God, but a desire to nevertheless. The willingness to do and become what is necessary—never in the eyes of other humans—is quite impossible to arrive at without the Father being revealed, because it's just not worth it and the animal power is too strong. That despised child state is a state that is too far away from the humans to ever reach on their own, because it's utterly unacceptable to them, despicable and disdainful. In the first place they can't even realize their situation because they're so completely blind to it, so cannot become humble. That is the angel with the flaming sword.
He answered, "I was sent only to the lost sheep of Israel."
This wasn't a message for everyone in the world, but spoken and available only to God's chosen people. It points to the message being for His sons who are chosen by Him to be in His family. It is essentially the same message Jesus speaks of concerning re-birth, the process of being born from above (as opposed to below, from the earth, natural not spiritual) and re-defined by the Father for His good. It's the slow, painful process of cutting off the flesh of our heart so that a new way and understanding can be realized. A new heart, a new way of perceiving our self that is not natural. Born from above. The natural man is not born circumcised—only a few are chosen to submit to this process, the pain of redefinition and being isolated from what is common.
Others, like seed sown among thorns, hear the word; but the worries of this life, the deceitfulness of wealth and the desires for other things come in and choke the word, making it unfruitful.
Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. Many will say to me on that day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and in your name drive out demons and perform many miracles?' Then I will tell them plainly, 'I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!'
