Numbers 27 / Proverbs 19 / Philippians 3-4

And the LORD said to Moses, "Go up to this Mount Abarim and see the land that I have given to the Israelites. And you shall see it, and you shall be gathered to your kin—you, too, as Aaron your brother was gathered, since you rebelled against my word in the Wilderness of Zin in the community's dispute, to sanctify me through the water before their eyes."

And Moses said to the LORD, saying, "Let the LORD, God of the spirits for all flesh, appoint a man over the community, who will go out before them and come in before them and who will lead them in and out on the march so that the LORD's community will not be like a flock that has no shepherd."

Moses didn't try to argue with God, feel sorry for himself or be resentful about all that he had done and put up with in his dealings with the Israelites, only to be punished by God for it for one little incident that occurred. He didn't demand that it was unfair that God would hold this seemingly small thing against him considering all he had to put up with—all he did for God that was good. Theoretically there could have been place for strong argument in his mind that all the good should have wiped out the one bad thing he did. Instead of shifting the blame and hostility to them (as the human did with the helper) by arguing that it was the unbelieving Israelites who caused that anger in him which caused him to do the unfaithful thing; instead he blessed them as a true helper and shepherd. He interceded for them and asked God to provide them with another natural copy of the coming Son, the Messiah who would take them into the land promised to Abraham. He asked God to provide them with the shepherd they needed, the copy of Yeshua who would lead the real sons into the real land, that which couldn't be seen.

Their mind is on earthly things, but our citizenship is spiritual.

It's okay that Moses only saw the land, because it is not the actual blessing of God or the true inheritance of him as one of God's loved sons, just as the natural family and nation of Israel is not God's actual family, but it existed as a copy of the better thing. When they did get to the land, the humans lived and died, and were subject to the death Moses was about to die. They were enslaved to the animal nature, the wolf in the shepherd's clothing which kept guiding them away from their devotion and faithfulness to God, and keeping them slaves to it instead, as per how it's supposed to work. That is the state and dilemma of the sons who are humans in their natural state and condition, unaware that it even exists before their calling to be able to see it. The invisible prison bars which keep them unable to wander from their cells toward the place where they can see and know the Father—that which makes and keeps them unable to see the hidden truth—are slowly revealed to them so they begin to see as they're meant to, according to the Father's reality and against the natural reality to which the humans are naturally privy.

The real Jesus saw what couldn't be seen, not because he already existed as one of the good gods but because he learned from the Father just like all the sons must learn from the Father—slowly and surely so that he understood who he was and so that he could choose rightly the way of the Father rather than the way of the fearful animal that is driven by the instinct of what naturally lives inside it. The way of the animal is so surely embedded in all of the humans that it is no easy, fast or cheap process of having it extracted from the son who comes from the stock of the humans, so is like all of them thoroughly infested by its pervasive existence. There is no magical freedom, or any free gift of salvation that lifts the animal out of the son so that he is automatically transformed from what he was to what he will become to the Father. The free gift that exists is just in being able to see, but once the eyes can see and the ears can hear, then the work of believing the impossible only begins. The way to the Father is not some easy ride but a walking and a plodding along toward Him and away from the animal. The secret Messiah whom God the Father kept perfectly hidden from the humans was different than all the rest of the ordinary humans (except John) because he was the first to be born of God, via the spirit of the Father that lived in him. Therefore he and his life—the way he lived it and what he chose—is the teacher of the sons to teach them how to be good sons that the Father considers clean because they look like the life of the firstborn Son of God.

And we know that in all things God works for the good of those (His own sons) who love him (because the animal nature is being purged from within them, so they are potentially able to love something other than themselves), who have been called (chosen and drawn by the Father in a secret and mysterious way) according to his purpose (that they become members of His hidden family by choosing the right). For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the likeness of his Son (he becomes the model for all the rest), that he might be the firstborn among many brothers (the real sons of God whose life and hope is spiritual like their Father, not natural like the humans).

As Moses and Joshua point forward to the Son, we as the called sons also point back to him and become "Conformed to his likeness in every way," by hearing that which cannot be naturally heard, and learning to "choose the right," which is the process of transformation that isn't found in the world of the humans or any of their systems, especially the ones that claim to know the way to the Father. That way is secret and hidden from the humans on purpose, so they can't just figure out then know the way to be able to make it a publicly disclosed thing. If they did know the way they wouldn't make it generically and publicly available, as those who claim to know the way always must do, so they can benefit from it in various ways. Otherwise there wouldn't be any reason to do it if they couldn't benefit from it somehow because that's what the humans are driven to do in their "always on" survival mode. The many scams on the Father and Son—christianity since the whore forward—aren't just for financial gain. There is an equally valuable craving in the humans which is about acceptability and worth, and what those who form and become leaders in these various scams gain from their "service" is that very valuable currency of being worthwhile and acceptable, even at the expense of the others who don't strive to get that kind of currency (those they claim to be shepherds and teachers of). Basically they peddle the hope and promise of a state of an eternal surviving for whatever currency they can get from those who are willing to pay for it.

We are to God the aroma of Christ among those who are being saved and those who are perishing. To the one we are the smell of death; to the other, the fragrance of life. And who is equal to such a task? Unlike so many, we do not peddle the word of God for profit. On the contrary, in Christ we speak before God with sincerity, like men sent from God.

The way that the Father set up His method of choosing, calling and revealing creates a situation and environment whereby His truth cannot be peddled or used in any way by the humans who may have the tendency to want to do that, which is beautiful how it works that way so the sons can't defile their inheritance because of their ignorance and the influence of the animal still in them. The way it works is by not revealing it generically so that there is no ability to persuade anyone to whom the message of the revealing isn't destined. That is why the existence of the Father's life is kept a secret from the humans, even while it's being revealed in the chosen sons. Even while the process is fully underway, the revealing doesn't just bust out of that which it's confined to, so that its purpose is confined and efficient toward the Father's desire that the son believes what is impossible according to the humans. Any one of them around the sons would say they are making it up, only because the process is not happening in them so their reality can only ever be that the claims of the son to whom the process of transformation is happening is impossible. This is how actual belief according to the Father—after the tradition of Abel, Noah, Moses, David, John and all of the sons of God from before the firstborn (who is the highest model of the process), during and after his earthly existence—is wrought in the sons so that it "counts" for something. The willingness to believe the impossible and overcome the odds of the earthly life will be something that we will love about each other when we're all together. Those who turn back

Remember those earlier days after you had received the light, when you stood your ground in a great contest in the face of suffering. Sometimes you were publicly exposed to insult and persecution; at other times you stood side by side with those who were so treated. You sympathized with those in prison and joyfully accepted the confiscation of your property, because you knew that you yourselves had better and lasting possessions. So do not throw away your confidence; it will be richly rewarded. You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised. For in just a very little while,

"He who is coming will come and will not delay. But my righteous one will live by faith. And if he shrinks back, I will not be pleased with him."

But we are not of those who shrink back and are destroyed, but of those who believe and are saved.

The process is real and it makes sense once it's revealed. Before that there can be no knowledge of how perfectly it all fits together and makes so much sense and is even perfectly validated by the preserved words for their ability to show us through the many hidden techniques and secret messages that are only found by those eyes that can see and the ears that can hear the secret message. That is accomplished by us becoming truth as he was, transformed into a son instead of the animal we naturally are, being human. This process of transformation happens by the same power that raised Jesus from the grave, to turn him from dead human to alive Son of God, who is like God because he's driven by the life of the Father instead of the animal instinct.

This happens like a seed is nurtured so it germinates and changes form, and the sprout is nurtured so it grows so slowly it's almost unnoticed; and the plant is nurtured so that it becomes stronger, healthier, and increasingly more able to stand up because of its massive—yet totally hidden—root system. It all happens according to His hidden power, accomplishing His will while the humans remain unawares. It is just as difficult and more valid to turn away from the animal instinct of craving and lust, or even the more benign things that don't seem "bad," as it is to go and do some difficult thing for God's sake if that difficult thing arises out of our own mistaken choices. The better thing is to listen and learn what it is that made us feel compelled to choose something other than what we already have in the here and now, what has been provided for the son by the Father so he has the ability to be in a safe place to unlearn the way of the animal and learn the way of the son of the living Father who is calling him to come away from that which is impossibly difficult to come away from, and why it's worth so much to the Father that the son would want to, and would show that not just in words of intention but in the daily grind of learning to choose the right and reject the wrong without so many bells and whistles, but just the quietness of feeling secure by knowing we are being taught so that we can begin to come close to the Father and to know Him who is calling us.

I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints, and his incomparably great power for us who believe.

That power is like the working of his mighty strength, which he exerted in Christ when he raised him from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly realms, far above all rule and authority, power and dominion, and every title that can be given, not only in the present age but also in the one to come.

When you were dead in your sins and in the uncircumcision of your sinful (animal) nature, God made you alive with Christ. He forgave us all our sins (made us sons instead of animals), having canceled the written code, with its regulations, that was against us and that stood opposed to us; he took it (the animal nature) away, nailing it to the cross. And having disarmed the powers and authorities (for those who are chosen), he made a public (in the spiritual world, not the natural) spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross.

In the natural it all just seems like a big failure, displayed in the animals who walked by him wagging their heads without any understanding of what was being accomplished—not for them, but for the sons of God, those who ever lived as animals, but who will be redeemed from the grave by the work of the Son, those whom God has chosen because He desires them to be with Him forever.

Those who passed by hurled insults at him, shaking their heads and saying, "You who are going to destroy the temple and build it in three days, save yourself! Come down from the cross, if you are the Son of God!"

In the same way the chief priests, the teachers of the law and the elders mocked him.  "He saved others," they said, "but he can't save himself! He's the King of Israel! Let him come down now from the cross, and we will believe in him. He trusts in God. Let God rescue him now if he wants him, for he said, 'I am the Son of God.' "

The truth of what was actually being done was hidden from the humans as the power of God redeemed him from the grave unnoticeable to them. Even those chosen didn't see what was happening or understand it until later. The angels in the spiritual world saw it, and rejoiced with the Father because the Son was coming home. However the humans, merely judging by what they could deduce with their natural eyes, ears and mind only saw what they saw—that this man who claimed to be something didn't "prove" that he was who he claimed to be (the point of the temptation record). Actually he did prove it many times, and they are judged by their own words: "He saved others." But because he didn't "prove it" to them via the way they prescribed, they thought they were justified because of their control in the natural sphere amongst the humans. What they thought they were doing was just opposite to what they were actually doing, via God's will and the power that was hidden to them. The height of irony.

The Pharisees came and began to question Jesus. To test him, they asked him for a sign from heaven. He sighed deeply and said, "Why does this generation ask for a miraculous sign? I tell you the truth, no sign will be given to it."

Just like today, the humans think they see something with their eyes, but the reality is hidden from them because the reality of God is not in this world or available to the humans, especially in their religious systems and institutions. These are created to make themselves feel better by surrounding themselves with others who believe the same way they do—giving each other the agreement of consensus they crave to have—so they can feel secure with the lies that they love to perpetuate about everyone being able to survive forever, no matter who or what they are to God. That may not preclude that any of the humans other than the chosen sons will live. What makes sense is that the sons who are made like the Father are able to judge who is worthy as perfectly and fairly as He judges, because they are from the same heritage once their sonship is fully gained (no more of the animal nature infesting them), so they are able to judge who is worthy to live without the animal bias interfering. The animals always and naturally want and expect that their own brood (even their pets which is funnier, but also reveals the animal reality to a tee) will be in heaven with them surviving forever, which is totally skewed in the favor of their own egotistical animal tendencies and has little to do with the interests of God and His purpose, which is His family being with Him where He is.

Then I heard the number of those who were sealed: 144,000 from all the tribes of Israel.

Then I looked, and there before me was the Lamb, standing on Mount Zion, and with him 144,000 who had his name and his Father's name written on their foreheads. And I heard a sound from heaven like the roar of rushing waters and like a loud peal of thunder. The sound I heard was like that of harpists playing their harps. And they sang a new song before the throne and before the four living creatures and the elders. No one could learn the song except the 144,000 who had been redeemed from the earth. These are those who did not defile themselves with women, for they kept themselves pure. They follow the Lamb wherever he goes. They were purchased from among men and offered as firstfruits to God and the Lamb. No lie was found in their mouths; they are blameless.

After this I looked and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and in front of the Lamb. They were wearing white robes and were holding palm branches in their hands. And they cried out in a loud voice:

"Salvation belongs to our God, who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb."

Just as there is an exact number—meaning their rank and file is specified by God's own choosing—of those who know the song and the words to the song that no one else can learn and know, who follow the Lamb around because they're drawn to follow him (because he knows the way to the Father and they want to go there), so also there is the great multitude who are also alive with the chosen sons, who will no doubt be judged and chosen by the group of God's sons who have been chosen by Him to become able to judge without that animal bias.

"Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, for this was not revealed to you by man, but by my Father in heaven. And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it. I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven." Then he warned his disciples not to tell anyone that he was the Christ.

That Jesus was the Messiah for whom all Israel had been waiting was a secret not to be disclosed to the humans at large. A few hundred years later the humans buried this truth under the rubble of the mythological jesus god who wants every last one of the humans crammed into their made up heaven like rats infesting a house. Just as Jesus himself could only give the truth to those who had been given to him by the Father, so we can only be effective for those who have been drawn to the truth of what has been given to us. In that respect we don't have to go out looking, because just as we were drawn, only those who are drawn will respond, although that's not our concern. If any ever are then that's not up to us; if we know we are then that's enough and we need to look for our validation from within, not without. The way it happens to us will be the same as any others, if that is the will of the Father to have any more sons be gathered up to Him, via being made truth, as Jesus was. There are already plenty of brothers to love, because they loved the purpose of the Father more than their right to live like an animal.

"Stop grumbling among yourselves," Jesus answered. "No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him, and I will raise him up at the last day. It is written in the Prophets: `They will all be taught by God.' Everyone who listens to the Father and learns from him comes to me.
