Numbers 26 / Proverbs 18 / Philippians 1-2

If you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from his love, if any fellowship with the Spirit, if any tenderness and compassion, then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and purpose. Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves. Each of you should look not only to your own interests, but also to the interests of others.

Instead of seeing the words as command-like sentences, or things we can "live by," it's the purpose of the Father that we should see the condition of the heart of the one who wrote it, what created an atmosphere of a driving philosophy to do what humans can't actually do—that is, to love another purpose than our own in a deep and genuine, non-animal (only loving those who love us or those who carry our own DNA) way. That is the miraculousness of what actually happened in the first century when this tiny little group of those who were being enlightened by the spirit of the living God were taken into this place of knowing another family than that which was natural.

Do everything without complaining or arguing, so that you may become blameless and pure, children of God without fault in a crooked and depraved generation, in which you shine like stars in the universe as you hold out the word of life—in order that I may boast on the day of Christ that I did not run or labor for nothing.

The motivation behind the words are what is important to comprehend, which reflects a genuine condition of being taken captive by this force of power that was strong enough to completely change a man's life from one thing to another. It caused him to go from a self-loving animal bent on gaining as much as he possibly could to one who was happily willing to be broken and spent for this other purpose that was gaining so much momentum in him that he was—like one who had lost his mind yet whose mind was obviously completely intact—completely given over to it. The enormity and significance of the process with all its resonating subtleties is sort of like the picture on the front of this web site, of the angel turning the whale in another direction than that which it was going. It seems so much so that he appears to be from the way he writes like someone who has been born of another nature entirely, with one new purpose and hope which was just to look out for the interests of the Father and the Son, which is the family that Paul suddenly felt himself being sucked into in a good way.

Everyone looks out for his own interests, not those of Jesus Christ.

But even if I am being poured out like a drink offering on the sacrifice and service coming from your faith, I am glad and rejoice with all of you. So you too should be glad and rejoice with me.

It's not at all our job to prove anything to anyone, any more than it was by our own effort that this process all came to be even beginning in us, and has continued to grow like a healthy plant which is the metaphor that the Son often used to describe the process of being taken as a son to the living Father. The way that a tree grows, and not a blade of grass, is how the life of the Father is born into and develops in a son who is chosen to have that process take him away, as Paul was taken away and made an actual part of something he wasn't before—born to the living God who is the spirit (unseen & not a part of this observable creation), into His family which is also spirit, unseen and unknown to the humans at large.

Once, having been asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, Jesus replied, "The kingdom of God does not come with your careful observation, nor will people say, `Here it is,' or `There it is,' because the kingdom of God is within you."

Paul understood that the nation of Israel and the kingdom of Israel's God weren't a part of the natural, observable world that the humans own and control for their own good and benefit. Jesus kept saying that the kingdom of God and the kingdom of heaven were actually the same thing, heaven being other-worldly, spiritual in nature which is not seen or controlled by the humans because it's not this visible creation. The visible creation is a subset of that which is bigger, which remains unseen and unnoticed, unless the order is given that unleashes the ignorance of that world in any or one of the humans, which is what was happening in the first century before it go taken over by the animals who set themselves up in the temple of the bodies of the believers, who were the true temple of that which was of this other, unseen nature.

Destroy this temple, and I will raise it again in three days (the temple he had spoken of was his body).

Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your body.

The house that God who is spirit was speaking about all throughout the time of the natural kingdom of His chosen group, when He was putting His word into the mouths of His prophets (the sons of God in the OT era who were given ears to hear and eyes to see what the humans at large couldn't—because its very nature is unseen, on purpose i.e., it's not a mistake or a failure that the humans are ignorant of the living God), was never about a house that is built of wood and stones. The cornerstone of the house wasn't anything in the natural, which is the central message in the sons' understanding that the natural means nothing.

Flesh gives birth to flesh, but spirit gives birth to spirit.

Without sounding reckless or cavalier, there's really nothing that special and great about the natural world, which the humans are a central part of and what they own and control, as compared to the living God's plan and purpose, which are entirely not natural—as much as He is not natural but unseen and removed, or separated from it and that which is a central part of it. That in itself is the undermining of all the humans' little religions, which are also nothing in themselves on their own except a group of humans who conspire together to give each other the agreement of consensus that their view of how to get to whatever gods they have created is the better, or best, view that trumps all the other religions along with their views about the better, more powerful and stronger gods. It's what has been going on with the humans from forever past as they try to impose their individual and collective will either in on themselves or out to whomever is willing to join up with them and their conspiracy of agreement about their particular gods being better than the others.

After he was raised from the dead, his disciples recalled (because they were given that ability to recall—eyes and ears that were not natural so they could see and hear that which is not seeable or hearable) what he had said. Then they believed the Scripture and the words that Jesus had spoken (because they were given that ability to see and hear, they could believe in what was happening, but only inside themselves).

Everyone looks out for his own interests, not those of Jesus Christ.

Fear appeasement & craving satisfaction are at the foundation of the human experience as animal, just like all animals driven by instinct to be what they are and are going to remain. The condition of the humans boils down to one of complete and utter unknowing, simply because it's not their purpose or right to know (contrary to popular assumption). That general ignorance produces complex fears on many levels about many things, which in turn leads to so many lies in order to cope with the fact that nobody knows anything about what is going to happen. The only thing anyone can know is that they exist for a while then they cease to exist; everything else in uncertain and must be made up if it's being proposed in a general manner.

The time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine.

What is the logical reaction to this ongoing condition of ignorance, all through the history of the humans? Make up stories about what is uncertain and pretend to be "experts" about it, even though they know little more than a retarded 3 year old goat knows about the living God or what will happen to any of them, and then attempt by whatever persuasion ability you have within you to convince others by playing on their fears that you know what will happen. That is the humans and their various religions that claim to know the way to God but can't, so all they can do is make stuff up and create their "systems of belief," which really are just that. They have the same sorts of systems about particular brands of vehicles, guns or how to make quilts or wooden bowls. They're all the same and for the same purpose.

Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear.

Religion is one huge charade that everyone plays along with and few ever stop to say it is what it is—that they don't know anything and can't, because that which is unseen is secret and mysterious, which was the real Jesus' most important message for those who were given ears to hear.

A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.

Impotent attempts are often made in attempting to obey the command, however they peter out because the force they fight against (the nature of their own selves that are driven by instinct to do the opposite) is too powerful and encompassing. The lies which exist are the many attempts to skirt around that which has been set, to control their environment and even their presumed destiny by establishing what they want to be true as that which is true; so they develop their own version of the explanation. These are the so-called solutions to the unsolvable problem of not seeing that which isn't available to be seen. The more honest approach—that which God who created this to be as such likes and wants to find amongst the humans—is to say there is no way to just figure out something so complex as God would have to be to create such an extraordinary thing. There is no honesty in pretending something is what it obviously isn't, just to quell what is unquiet.

They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths.

Much of what the humans do revolves around them realizing that they can hide themselves from other humans by acting a certain way on the outside than that which they are inside their own mind and heart, the places where they really live in their own hidden yet most honest thoughts, hopes and aspirations. That process of hiding from other humans (and God, which is the impetus) exists on different levels of perfection, according to how far the person wants to go in their elusiveness and acting ability. Many are found out by those (family members) who are around them more of the time than they feel it worth hiding, then who they are may come out a little bit. Sometimes it comes out when the pressure gets put on them or if they get threatened. This produces a defensiveness that may come out as anger, hostility, or resentment because the main goal is to hide, and turning their fear into someone else's fault usually allows them to keep this cover. It also helps to push one away when one knows our secret so that we're not found out. Some fundamental fears:

The fear of not knowing—the lie of emotional sentimentality, that we can know something.
The fear of being alone and heading for death, unloved—the lie that another human can save us.
The fear of being exposed for who we are—the lie that we can pretend to be something and we'll be that.
The fear of being found out—the lie that we can hide who we are from God like we hide it from men.

There is also the hunger of what the animal craves by nature, what it needs to feel safe. The humans are merely animals so it holds true for all of them too. Eating, sleeping, replicating themselves, efficiently working toward staying alive, are pretty much what wild animals regularly do, what all of their behavior can be summarized into. The humans are fundamentally the same, but are way more complex because of our complex psyche that produces multi-dimensional hiding abilities from the mundane to the bizarre.

The love of money comes from the fear of not physically surviving, knowing that we're doomed. So spending our lives trying to get as much as we can in order to feel a little insulated from that fear is the most tangible way to combat it, and money is the easiest way to get stuff. It is also a recognizable symbol that we're okay because we have some money at our disposal if we need it, i.e., we're less likely to die right away because we understand that we have money. The need to pile things up around us comes from this fear that we're dying, and the lie is that we can stave it off somehow by doing that. Things require money so the chasing after money is what that's about. It's a mundane one, and it's never satisfied either because the fear always produces a need for bigger, better, and more expensive. The ego (big survival tool) gets tied in with our ability to produce and maintain and we don't want to be found out as a failure and a low life who can't measure up. There are all sorts of different ways that the humans find they need to survive; not just physically, but emotionally and mentally too.

The need to survive mentally and emotionally is much more complex, but still holds true to the same survival mechanisms. This produces the need to feel better than others, special, privileged despite the animal's actual state. It makes us feel we need to be right all the time, to have the answers, and be better. If we convince ourselves that we in fact inherently are better, in whatever way, then we feel a little more like we are surviving because we're stronger, better, more correct. It's highly subjective and usually applies to the children that come out of the body, which contain the parental animal's DNA. The animal impulse to be driven to reproduce also provides a lot of satisfaction of many complex cravings within it. Because its DNA lives in the offspring, it is the closest thing to it being able to live on past its own grave. There is nothing more fulfilling than being able to see one's own self in another replicant. It is also one of the most self-serving things one can do, and why the animals are driven to do it.

It is good for the humans to fully engage in the animal nature because it gives them what they want most at the deepest levels that exist within them. In other words, it's good for them because it works according to how it was set up to work. However, it isn't good for those who are being called to become sons of the living God. The nature of the wild animal (satan) is what Jesus spoke against to those whom he knew were particularly and specially chosen by the Father to become sons. It is the devil from what he told the disciples they must repent (not be led by it like a wild animal), and what they had to be set free from in order to be right with God, because it is the thing that quietly and secretly keeps the animals away from Him without their even being aware of it. It was not in doing outward rituals or being circumcised. Circumcision of the heart is not a human thing that can be monitored or controlled by humans. It is a condition that is hidden from the humans so they're not able to control it.

The way of the Father cannot be understood by the sons unless it's against the truth of the animal nature. It (the animal nature) contains the ultimate truth because it is the ultimate lie—that it is good, and that what matters is something that doesn't even exist, something made up by humans. That is all good for them, but the sons must be able to see past all of that, which is why they have the eyes which can see it for what it is. Then they have to choose, which is an important part of the relationship (why the adversary even exists in the first place). The Father doesn't want a family of sons who are forced to love Him, but who choose to.
