Genesis 28-29 / Psalm 33 / Matthew 18

And Jacob made a vow, saying, "If the LORD God be with me and guard me on this way that I am going and give me bread to eat and clothing to wear, and I return safely to my father's house, then the LORD will be my God."

Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes?

The consciousness of Jesus was based in the reality of what the scriptures meant to him, as interpreted by the spirit of the Father who lived in him to teach him about the new way. None of the things that produced his consciousness were taught to him by any human or group of humans. The practical entirety of humanity has always been mistaken about God, and they can't ever help but weave into their teachings about God things that benefit them and their animal existence.

See that you do not look down on one of these little ones. For I tell you that their angels in heaven always see the face of my Father in heaven.

Those whose eyes see God are unseen, and those who have ever been given the eyes to see as the Lord saw must necessarily suffer with regards to seeing. Nor are they intended to be seen as humans like to see and be seen (honorable, respectable, acceptable). There isn't the same kind of human recognition, and therefore validation, given to those who are favored by God because the Father's sons are chosen in secret, not according to the will of any man or group of men, nor even the man who is chosen. Those who are favored by men are chosen by men and their calling and election is only made sure because of the consensus they can garner from the others who adhere to the same credo.

I tell you, my friends, do not be afraid of those who kill the body and after that can do no more. But I will show you whom you should fear: Fear him who, after the killing of the body, has power to throw you into hell. Yes, I tell you, fear him. Are not five sparrows sold for two pennies? Yet not one of them is forgotten by God. Indeed, the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Don't be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows.

There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.

More numbers mean better to the humans, so more people going to their church is better in the same way the christadelphians' thought that recruiting more people to "the truth" is something that God would necessarily be happy about. However neither of these groups is actually interested in what they claim they're doing, and they don't want more people to "be saved," or "brought into the truth." Because of the animal's delicate ego and the great fear that drives them, they feel compelled to think that the more validation they can get from others, the righter they must be about their future, because the happier God will be about their efforts. Their real motivations come from their actions and not from anything they claim to be doing by their mouths, which lie as a matter of convenience to protect the sanctity of their animal reality while at the same time they convince each other how happy God must be for making sure the sons of God don't infect their precious system by their heresy and sinfulness.

If anyone causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin, it would be better for him to have a large millstone hung around his neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea.

What is conveniently forgotten by the humans is that the Father deliberately made the Son of David look evil, not good to the humans. By the Father's deliberate doings, the one for whom all Israel claim to be waiting was made to look like a lawbreaker and by their precious law they made him into a curse, in the name of God whom they claimed to be protecting. This action of God keeping the Son's identity hidden from all the humans except the tiniest sliver of those who had to be given special, supernatural eyes to be able to see that he actually was who he claimed to be; is the precedent that is set up for all of God's sons whose identities are hidden from the humans just as Jesus' was. In this way he was the firstborn of all the rest of God's sons.

God has been taking just a few people from each of the generations of the humans to wear His secret name on their foreheads, which will one day be revealed but for now it remains hidden, just as the Father has chosen to be and remain hidden from the humans at large. They can make up any theory they want about how to get to Him and can get as many humans as they can to validate it for them, but the precedent of His desire to be and remain hidden has already been set, and that is the formula that has been and is continuing to be validated with us who hear the voice of the teacher telling us who we are—not the sons of any man.

Do not call anyone on earth 'father,' for you have one Father, and he is in heaven.

In other words, by saying that their real Father is in heaven he is telling them that He is hidden, secret and unseen on purpose, according to His plan and choosing. Those few men Jesus was speaking to at the time were chosen by the Father to become His sons instead of common animals like all the humans around them, who so very ironically and in step with God's actions considered those who were specifically chosen by God to be less than they were, inferior to those who were destined to be and remain common animals who cannot come near the Father.

Then I heard the number of those who were sealed: 144,000 from all the tribes of Israel.

Then I looked, and there before me was the Lamb, standing on Mount Zion, and with him 144,000 who had his name and his Father's name written on their foreheads. And I heard a sound from heaven like the roar of rushing waters and like a loud peal of thunder. The sound I heard was like that of harpists playing their harps. And they sang a new song before the throne and before the four living creatures and the elders. No one could learn the song except the 144,000 who had been redeemed from the earth. These are those who did not defile themselves with women, for they kept themselves pure. They follow the Lamb wherever he goes. They were purchased from among men and offered as firstfruits to God and the Lamb. No lie was found in their mouths; they are blameless.

After this I looked and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and in front of the Lamb. They were wearing white robes and were holding palm branches in their hands. And they cried out in a loud voice:

"Salvation belongs to our God, who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb."

The first group, being an exact number, means that they were specifically chosen by the Father, each and every one of His own sons to be the Israel of God, the fulfillment of what *everything* points to. The second group, labelled as that which no one could count, differentiates them from the first group in that they were not each and every one chosen by the Father to be brought near to Him as a son is brought near to his father. These we believe are the humans who are chosen by the sons to be worthy to praise the Lamb who is the firstborn of the first group. Just as the Son became like a buffer between the Father and the unclean animals in whom He lived for a short while in the first century, so the chosen sons become like a buffer between the Father and the multitude who were not specifically chosen by Him.

His family of chosen sons will be made up not of those who were honored by other men, but of those who were scorned by men, whose lives looked shameful and ugly to the humans, who by this shared in the shame and rejection of the firstborn Son, who is their true brother. The ways of the humans are against the ways of God, because the ways of God are not known to or by them, and He sets them up to become polar opposites, as per the way He likes things to be with the animal reality being opposed to His. The ways of the Father are secret and not available to the humans, a feat accomplished by God by making His ways emotionally undesirable to them.

The hidden Son is the greatest example of this—scorned, hated and killed by the humans, he was later turned into some kind of mythological folk hero god by the whore of babylon, which he is to this day in all the churches, ecclesias and other religious institutions which meet to 'celebrate' his life. However, there should be no celebration, humanly speaking, about the life of Jesus as far as they are willing to regard him. As a human, according to the ways of man, he was a disgusting and repulsive failure. If he was Messiah, he should have been king, and should have delivered Israel from the hands of the ungodly Romans. He should have elevated those who trusted and helped him in his earthly life to high positions of power and glory in the eyes of men, for their loyalty to him. Instead, he allowed himself to be murdered, even though he could have stopped it from happening, and abandoned those who had left everything they had to follow him with nothing but a movement without a leader.

When they came together in Galilee, he said to them, "The Son of Man is going to be betrayed into the hands of men. They will kill him, and on the third day he will be raised to life." And the disciples were filled with grief.

Of course it's impossible to separate the ways of man from the ways of God if you don't know the ways of God. Contrary to popular belief, the ways of God are not the ways of man, nor can the ways of God be "figured out" by those who only possess the faculties of the human, of the animal. It is hidden and secret for very good reasons known only to God and the few He chooses to see. They are kept from the humans and unknown by them, even though they are right under their noses and plain to read:

And the LORD God said, "The man has now become like one of us, knowing good and evil. He must not be allowed to reach out his hand and take also from the tree of life and eat, and live forever."

This is why I speak to them in parables:

"Though seeing, they do not see;
though hearing, they do not hear or understand.

In them is fulfilled the prophecy of Isaiah:
" 'You will be ever hearing but never understanding;
you will be ever seeing but never perceiving.

For this people's heart has become calloused;
they hardly hear with their ears,
and they have closed their eyes.
Otherwise they might see with their eyes,
hear with their ears,
understand with their hearts
and turn, and I would heal them.'

To the tiny group who had been chosen by the Father to see who Jesus was, those to whom God gave eyes to comprehend his true identity according to the Father:

Blessed are your eyes because they see, and your ears because they hear. For I tell you the truth, many prophets and righteous men longed to see what you see but did not see it, and to hear what you hear but did not hear it.

The knowledge of the secrets of the kingdom of heaven has been given to you, but not to them. Whoever has will be given more, and he will have an abundance. Whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken from him.
